Dicks&Janes Podcast#12

Click title to hear this podcast!

At last, the end of the Japan podcasts! Starts off in a Tokyo bar, continues drinking throughout, ends with some thoughts on zen, and a lot of dining and whining in between. Some soundseeing around Tokyo (check for more photos).

Enjoyed the show very much, esp. the parts where you get a bit pissed and pissed off at the same time! I appreciate the way you document both the ups and downs in such a raw way - you are truly "keeping it honest" and that is a quality that I hope you retain through to the end of your very last podcast.

Wow! Just read thru the dicks&janes entry in your blog, robb (aka Singapore Sam in my podcasts), and I gotta say, that sure pushed all the right buttons! Can't thank you enuf for that kinda support - that review alone is enuf to keep me going at this for at least another dam year! I was begging to waver on the 'stay truthful' part cuz I didn't always like what I saw/heard, but you've convinced me not to fake it just to make myself look/sound better. Thanks!

Sorry- my previous comment should have read: 'beginning to waver', not 'begging to waver'.

Couldn't help but enjoy and laugh at the Roy Rodgers inserts...but some serious honesty intermingled with sounds and sights, pictures posted are great.

Many thanks for the vicarious trip back to Japan, dude.

The music on your shows is primo, but you're better. The more raw, drunken ranting, the merrier, as long as it doesn't become a burden. We need you to keep at this. Whatever you do, don't think you're boring us. You're *not*. Talk on, dude - that's why we're here.

BTW, fuck the dickheads complaining about *sound quality* (even if it wasn't your podcast). They may have inspired you, but they have their heads up their arses. That's *not* what this is about.

loved the vicarious trip to japan, ken. Don and i received some of those tissues with photo print offers inside when we were in shinjuku last february. The sounds of the train stations were similar to those we heard in the subway. Always a woman's voice. I could tell you missed your family from your voice. Keep up the great podcasting!
