Dicks&Janes Podcast#7
I just can't stop myself now! Never imagined how much fun this would be, and yet I'm still wondering why? It's almost like masturbation - listening to your own podcasts I mean. Sheesh! Anyway, this one was a wham bam thank you mam kinda show, brought on by bright pink cherry blossoms. Hey, and it was alcohol free - a first! Couple of hanging songs in there, and a whole bunch more - ya just gotta listen eh...
Oops- the songs & ditties...
The Overlander - Essential Aussie Songs (disc 2)
Everything I love - The Ken Peplowski Quintet - Cole Porter Songbok (background)
What's Going On - Mekon Featuring Roxanne Shant - Revolution mag CD
Free Until They Cut Me Down - Iron & Wine - Uncut Americana 2004
Tom Dooley - Kingston Trio - The Kingston Trio
Where The Dog Sits On The Tuckerbox - Jack O'Hagan - Essential Aussie Songs (disc 2)

I want to listen but it doesn't work...?? Please check it Ken!
I'm coming, I'm coming!! I mean it's coming, it's coming!!
Ok..here's the deal....I came to work today just so I could listen to your podcast as I don't have broadband at home...so puhleeeeeze get 'er up there...for some reason, even the older ones (that used to work fine) don't function - something odd about that Mac page you link through methinks!
So, I shall keep hoping, sitting here with headphones on and thumb drive plugged...

I am sending you good luck from Singapore in hopes that the podcast starts working soon. Not including alcohol this time is surely the reason behind the problem - shame on you!
It was just gettting to easy - something had to get fucked up! One dam typo on a file name and the bottom falls out! Serves me right - I knew I should have had a beer!!
Hey, no worries man. Just fix her up and your millions of adoring listeners will appreciate your sonic efforts!
Getting closer, but now we get a message that the file is "octet stream (untyped binary data) and the browser I am on can't seem to read the file, but can read your earlier ones? Weird.
Still think it needs a bit of jiggling - thanks for all your efforts Ken. Not sure if you are in Canada or in Japan right now...if it is Canada you must be past midnight...
Still in Canada, way past midnight - and still fighting with .mac synchronization! But hey - I owe it to my fans - at least 3 now - maybe even 4!!
Oh well, time to head off into the wild blue yonder. Sadly, I was unable to get the podcast to work, so I will try again another day.
Seeya!
PS Sean and Pan are currently on an airplane headed to Vancouver - they left around 10 am Singapore time this morning...
Just about exactly the time Hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley was very popular, there was another one - the words were, "Green, green, it's green, they say, on the far side of the hill. Green, green. I'm going away to where the grass is a-greener still."
That song led me to leave the town I grew up in. Yes, Toronto takes awhile to get to know.
The latter song above is not to be confused with another piece from back then called Bowling Green.
Keep on podcasting. I don't think you want to sound like a radio show host.
