Hey Dude, just an FYI for the next ep, you've still go the year set to 2010 in the iTunes feed.
Thx - I thot I went back and changed that cuz it works now- but will check again...
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know I throughly enjoyed the most recent episode, though probably not for the reasons you might expect.
I laughed and laughed when you followed up your insight near the end ("this is what it means to be a man") just a few seconds later with the assertion that the DnJ is you "puking" things out, and inviting us to "reach in and pull out the chunks" we want. Terrific.
Don't know how much Greek philosophy you've read, but I've always been fascinated by Heraclitus; he saw change as a basic and causal force in the universe, something like the way we now view gravity or magnetism. The image that stays with everybody from his theories is the assertion that one can never step in the same river twice, as the river - like all things - is in constant change.
On a personal note, glad to hear your son is well. As a new father, I think I can understand your concern.
Oh, one other thing: this is the song I immediately thought of to follow your discussion of existentialism.
