I'm sure it must have been the illness, but I didn't say you didn't have discipline.
I *did* say that when we're ill, we sometimes have to know our limits, in a kind of general way (knowing if I told you you should go home and rest you'd have told me to fuck off :-) )
But I have to add, you were definitely missed...
Katherine , I can't imagine a situation where I'd ever tell you to F off! Okay, so maybe I might mutter it under my breath, but I'm pretty sure I'd always value what you have to say, as you earned my respect a long time ago.
I was in a no win situation Friday nite pre-PCTO- if I didn't go out I'd have cursed myself for not at last trying, but because I did, I probably made myself that much worse.
But ya know, it was kinda fun watching podcamp from a distance, and great to have the videos up of presentations I wanted to see, like Tracey Fuller's. I salute the organizers, your kind hubby included!
In all honestly, I would have deserved a polite "F off" if I'd told you what to do :-)
And I know you would have said it with the utmost respect (and because I respect you, too, I wouldn't have been offended)
Now, just keep yourself healthy for PAB, will ya?
