A rambling kinda talk about life and all that comes with it, past, present & future, joined together with an eclectic selection of great music...

A small apology (asmallogy?) for anyone who listened; that part in the middle on ancestry should have been redone from scratch or omitted altogether, but as always, time rules, and the show must go on...
Audio-wise, you've already got a pretty good sound. Like Bob says;your volume levels are consistent. You've got bareley any background hum, no microphone pops and you're good about not breathing into the mic. Compared to the audio in your first episode, you're miles ahead of where you were. I use Adobe Audition myself and my two favourite tools are Dynamics Processing (levels out the volume)and Hard Limiting (eliminates clipping). Too much processing makes it sound like Charlie Browns teacher or worse yet - RADIO! (Gasp). All in all, a much more uplifting episode.
Dude, another wonderful show. I thought the ancestry bit was interesting, almost like "It's a Wonderful Life". Your shows are like listening to an audio letter from a friend.
I think a sure indicator of a good DnJ segment is how bad SD thinks it is. The ancestry bit was really fascinating. I don't know anything about my family past maybe one or two great grandparents and haven't been terribly motivated to check. But the whole "butterfly's flapping wings here causing a hurricane in Africa" aspect is really intriguing.

Another great show Dude! Never worry about sound quality. It sounds fantastic, and doing it your way, is the best way...keep it up!
