Can I relate? You just described the last 10 days of my life. Cranky, lots to do and no focus to get anything done and feeling guilty about it, mulling over Podcamp Montreal and wondering if we can afford to go, and if we go, should I work up a session idea I had, and then annoyed at myself and at loose ends.

Do you know how relieved I felt to know I wasn't the only one out here going through this?

What a delightful comment Katherine- thank you. My mother used to say 'misery loves company'- guess there's some truth to that.

Hope you & Rob do decide to go to Podcamp Montreal - and present! I'm up for it - just need to justify/rationalize the expense.

I actually think it's more than "misery loves company" -- I think when you realize you're not alone in the misery, it actually makes you realize it's not an abnormal condition, and then you can stop beating yourself up over it, and move on to more productive things.

In theory, anyway. :-)

I hear ya dude.

The guilt of not being exactly where you want to be and not doing what you should be doing can be crippling. For sure.

I'm beating the shit out of myself constantly.

The things you're saying in your podcast are worth saying. Trust that. Keep challenging yourself. Keep talking. And stop looking at my fucking tweets;)
