hello scarborough dude.
i started listening to your program in march this year and was glad to hear your voice on the deranged moose the other day, because all week, i 've been wondering: how is the scarborough dude doing? how's he getting along without his podcast?? is work more frustrating or commuting more annoying?

the reason i was wondering this is that i just started bloggin in february, and now a few short months later, i don't think my days would be the same without it.

previously, though i worked on a computer all day at my job, i always thought of it as a tool and was quite happy to walk away each evening without exploring its extended uses. now i have discovered a whole community through my blog and i'm very happy i did. yes, it takes extra time from other pastimes i love, but there is something aobut joining up with other people's lives that feels good, too.

anyway, it was good to hear your voice, good to hear you sounding so cheerful, and good to hear about the gardening!

thanks!

Thanks Anne! ya, it's actually been kinda tough not making podcasts, and in fact I've made a few clips which I may turn loose in the fall - but hoping I won't give in till then. It became a very big part of my life- so much so that for some perverse line of reasoning, I felt I had to stop- I was enjoying it to much!

And now to check out your blog...
