Just cuz I wanted this one to be easy, it hasn't been - glitches coming outta my ass. So this is Part a of a 2 part show 50, okay. It ends abruptly. part b on the way...

I can't resist doing this. Let me be the first person to congratulate you on an excellent pod ...
Let me second that emotion! This one hit a chord with me. As a person who listens to podcasts but doesn't make them myself, I am beginning to get the feeling that commercialization is beginning to rapidly seep into this new genre. I sympathize with people needing a way to cover their costs, but I thought the basic idea was to hammer out a new and unique alternative to glossy radio, commercial free if at all possible. In some strange way, my feeling about what happened to the music industry seems to be mirrored by what appears to be going on with podcasting. Selling the product somehow became more important than anything else. Oh well, la plus a change, la plus a meme chose I guess...
I really enjoyted the skype interview SD. (Knowing what it's like to interview someone "very close to you") I thought the timing was excellent - very funny.
As you can tell by me only commenting on 50 now, I'm catching up, and it's worth it.
Thanks Chris - it's nice to know someone is behind and still listening to the previous shows. The skype 'interview' was fun - all done in one quick totally unrehearsed take, and only afterwards changed the voice. I think you'll also enjoy my next skype call, on episode 54 - but no cheating, listen to the others first...
