Dude, I liked the segment on Nigeria and your conversation with your friend. Just as an aside, when you were talking about the Beats and such, I'm sure you already know but if not I would encourage you to read Thomas Wolfe (not Tom Wolf). You can see where Kerouac was influenced by this brilliant writer. I recommend "Look Homeward, Angel" and "You Can't Go Home Again".
