It seems less than half the show plays when downloaded via iTunes. We're working on the problem, meanwhile, you should be able to hear the entire 60 minutes thu this blog.

Maybe the problem was that I put a user name and don't have a password so guess I HAVE to be anonymous to submit it. Lost some of what I was trying to say...first of all music was great, love the voice on Ooh Child. Ya fixing things maybe is a guy thing but we all have talents and things we are just not good at...for me its dang cameras, cell phone, computers...couldn't comprehend changing from a LP to digital..so let's not be too hard on ourselves. You mentioned that we dont' know the rules or what to do sometimes re women but its the same for us re guys, some people are shy and its not so easy at any age and some run roughshod over the rest of us. In parenting matters maybe women support each other a little more but as I said before some of the most insightful and significant conversations I have had over the last few years has been with men...hey what's with that, but the gap might be narrowing. As to your family, sounds like good things happening with serious issues and you family deserves a lot of credit. Lots of thought in the issues you have brough up.

Thanks, nonanonymous. It's odd, but the Scarborough Dude seems to have been talking mostly about his old self from the past - about things that really aren't concerns for him anymore. Maybe he just wanted to share this with younger listeners who may still be struggling with some of these issues? Who knows eh?

For others, like myself, with interest in depression there is an excellent article in the recent Maclean's with a web site of online resources to help families:

I agree, we all need to talk about this more.

Since no one pays much attention to this here blog, it's probably safe for me to let the bag out of the cat and let everyone know that I didn't for a minute expect ladies not to listen to the boys show, and versa visa. I learned from this experience - the difference between us is only what we choose to make it. But hey, don't tell anyone eh - see if they can figure it out for themselves. Sshhhhh!!!!.

Whew!! sorry.... I did peek into the male side...and liked that side a whole bunch..but you guys didn't get as much great music as we did, but great verbal content for sure. Liked the e-mails quoted from Barnacle Bill and the young one, thought provoking both. I found the cave man comment very funny..the club, sharp rock and stealing your woman and meat...great podcast.
