Just writing in because I find it interesting how many podcasters have some connection to radio in some way. I grew up with radio as a hobby, especially shortwave radio. I think I was looking for voices outside of my city/school/friends/etc. so I turned to shortwave. I think I also turned to shortwave because I thought I would one day get out and travel to all of those exotic places I heard on the radio.
That didn't happen even though I've travelled all over the US with work but I am still fascinated with other voices from other places. I guess that's why podcasting is such a good fit with me.
And, lastly, the mower - I looked at a manual mower a few years back when my last push mower died. I'm not sure why I decided against it but I have noticed that no one here has them. I assume it's because of all the rain we have and how thick the grass gets.
It's weird that I am the last hold out pushing the whole yard. Everyone around me rides now and I am considering it. Once the real heat comes in, pushing for an hour and a half in 90 degree heat with the humidity gets to be quite a challenge!Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16502038733562604634noreply@blogger.com
